Which free scheduling app should a coach choose?
Nine scheduling apps with a free plan, each free plan read from the app's own pricing page on 5 November 2026, and who each one suits. Pick a Time is one of the nine and this is our site, so every rival fact links to its source for you to check.

Four questions settle most of it. How many kinds of session do you offer: one, or a discovery call plus a paid session? Do clients come back every week? Do you need reminders and a cancellation window, or will you chase people yourself? And which calendar do you live in: Google, Outlook or Apple?

The nine, one by one
Pick a Time
Built for coaching sessions: a discovery call and a paid session sit on one page, a weekly client books the whole series in one step, and each booking keeps its own file folder that the client opens from their email. It reads Google Calendar only, and payment at booking is still in development, so if clients must pay when they book, pick an app that takes payment today.
Calendly
Free forever with no booking cap, but one event type and one connected calendar. Reminders, group meetings and a cancellation policy are on its paid plans.

Already in Google Calendar, and a personal account gets one booking page. Reminder emails and checking more than one calendar need a paid Workspace or Google One plan.

Which free scheduling app fits you?
- One kind of meeting and an Outlook calendar: Calendly's free plan connects Outlook, and so does Koalendar's.
- Clients must pay when they book: Cal.com, Zcal or YouCanBookMe, which take Stripe on the free plan.
- Weekly clients, and you want each session's files and notes on the booking: Pick a Time.
- One simple page from inside Google Calendar: Google's appointment schedules.
- A team of up to four booking appointments: Setmore, whose free plan covers four users.
When a free plan stops being enough
Watch three limits. Booking caps: YouCanBookMe stops at 30 a month and SimplyBook.me at 50. Session types: Calendly's free plan allows one. And reminders: on Calendly and Koalendar they are paid, which matters if no-shows cost you money.
