Credit where due: Calendly's browser extension is genuinely useful, its admin controls suit big orgs, and its integration directory (91 listed integrations) is far longer than ours. If you need Salesforce routing and SSO enforcement across 200 sales reps, buy Calendly Teams and stop reading.

What you get here that Calendly doesn't have
Session files
Every booking carries its own file space. You and the person who booked can both attach agendas, pre-reads, photos or videos, and a recurring series shares one running folder. The other side needs no account: their manage-booking link is the door. No other mainstream scheduler stores documents per session, so agendas stop drowning in chat groups and email chains.
AI meeting notes on the booking
Connect Fireflies and each recorded session's summary and action items land on the matching booking in your dashboard. The recording tool you already pay for becomes part of the booking record.
Type a time in plain words
People booking with you can type "next saturday morning" and matching open slots surface. Nobody paging through week views.
Slot stretching
When consecutive slots are free, the person booking can merge them into one longer session. A 30-minute grid can still sell a 2-hour deep-dive without you configuring a separate event type.
The free plan has no booking cap: unlimited bookings, session types on one page, group events with seat counts, recurring series, custom booking questions, date overrides, daily booking caps, email reminders at times you choose, an embed widget, meeting polls, and per-session file sharing.

What does Calendly's free plan limit?
One active event type and one connected calendar. Multiple meeting lengths, booking questions and workflow reminders need the Standard plan at US$10 per seat per month billed annually.
Can I move my Calendly links to Pick a Time?
Booking links are just URLs, so you replace them where you shared them: email signature, website embed, social bios. Set up your page first, test one booking end to end, then swap the links. Old Calendly bookings stay on your Google Calendar either way.
Does Pick a Time work with Google Calendar like Calendly does?
Yes. It reads busy times from your Google Calendar (and any other calendars you add as block-out sources), writes bookings back, and adds a Google Meet link or your own meeting link to each event.
What does Pick a Time not have that Calendly has?
Outlook calendar support (on our roadmap), a browser extension, SSO and enterprise admin controls, and a large native integration directory. If those matter to you today, Calendly is the safer pick.
